I recently used the Movesmith and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The crew arrived at the exact time they said they would and they were so courteous and friendly. I moved into an older house and was worried some of my larger items wouldn’t fit up the narrow, curved staircase but they were able to get everything up there! They were so careful and gentle with all of my items and always made sure to ask me where I would like the items placed. I would highly recommend this company and would 100% use them again for any future moves. I would give them 6 stars if I could, thanks again!

Movesmith helped move my parents from their long time residence in Kennett Square to a smaller home an hour away. We did a full service move - pack, move and unpack - and they were wonderful. They were patient and careful and made sure my parents' bed was assembled for them to sleep on in their new house. Not one thing broken and the communication was great. The price was very fair for such extensive service and matched the original quote. I can't recommend them enough!
We had a great experience with MoveSmith. Their online interface was super easy to use and their quote clearly beat our competition in the area. When the gentlemen got to our house (Mike, Steven, Matt, Brian), they were polite and made sure to review the whole job with us ahead of time. They were polite and FAST, and as they worked, they kept checking to make sure they weren’t missing anything even offering to utilize extra space at the end with items that we were planning on bringing in our cars. At the new house, they had everything unloaded safely and unmarked. If you’re looking for movers in the West Chester area, do not hesitate to use these guys at all. Any other jobs I have in the future and they will be my first call!

Joy is how I felt to reach Garrett (who quickly returned my call) as I needed a heavy bathroom vanity moved up a flight of steps. Garrett offered me next day since it could be fit into his schedule. Brian and Matt arrived ahead of schedule and got it done quickly and safely. Working with MoveSmith just made my day. It was a joy to work with such a professional organization!
Brian and Matt moved us today. Top notch service made sure to lay covering down across lawn as to not bring mud into the house. We had a old oak hutch that is a family piece they took care of it like their own. If you are moving and need a recommendation this is the company to use. If I move again then will be my 1st and only call. Thank you for the outstanding service.

The Movesmith’s were wonderful! They’ve done a lot of moves at Sharples Works so they know the building and management. They made it soooooo easy! I just sat down and directed traffic! I would definitely use them again!
Last week, I completed my 5th move (yup, 5th) with the Movesmith. I don't even bother shopping around. Their prices are fair, their process is tight, and their team is amazing. Michael was in charge this time, and, as usual, it was smooth from start to finish. This is a tough process to be good at, and this team is smart, experienced, and communicative.

I hired the Movesmith to help move my elderly aunt’s furniture into her new home and they were great. She had never worked with a moving company and was worried about damage or something getting lost during the transition. The Movesmith team was absolutely incredible. I can't believe it took me this long to post. I kept thinking I would set aside some time because I knew it was going to be a long review and just never got around to it. But these guys are worth an essay because everything about the process was professional, smooth, and good. DJ helped us set up our move and we also opted to pay extra to have them pack our belongings the day before. Two guys came to our house and we're clearly pros at this. They used a generous amount of packaging and having now been in our place for months and unwrapped the majority of things I can say they did an excellent job. On move day, they had two trucks show up and the team they sent were incredibly professional and courteous. Every single gentleman from the move team made sure to introduce themselves to us by name and the team leader identified himself and told us to come to him with any questions or comments as the day progressed. They finished ahead of estimated schedule and having watched them work, we were super impressed with their efficiency. They did a very good job with even small details. Some sort of jar of beads or something fell during the move. They asked for a broom to clean it up themselves though I offered to do it because I'd rather they move the slew of boxes. One lamp was leaning against some other item in the truck and came out damaged and they were quick to tell us about it themselves and ultimately their team repaired it even though it fell below the damage deductible. We had a couple of very small follow-up items afterwards and they were extremely fair and prompt about them. We have recommended them to all our friends and even my husband who very rarely will rave about services of any kind was impressed by them, to the point that he even nudged me to make sure that I remembered to write a review for these guys. Do yourself a favor and choose them, it's going to be a very big weight off of your shoulders during what is clearly a stressful transition time with a lot of moving parts.
Mike and Steve did an amazing job moving us! Super friendly, never stopped moving until the job was done! They took the time to ensure they got everything we needed moved and placed exactly where we wanted in our new apartment. I will never not use movers to move again, and if it's locally, I'm definitely using Movesmith.

Requesting a quote was easy to do and once we received the quote, the price breakdown and what was included with the move was easy to follow and understand. Brian and Matt were very efficient, friendly and they were careful with our items throughout. The move was quick, easy and painless. A variety of payment options were also offered which was very convenient. Highly recommend!

I have used The Movesmith movers twice now and they get better every move! They respond to your estimate requests online very quickly. My estimate was higher then what I actually paid on moving day! They are professional, on time, and take great care to make sure everything gets from A to B in perfect condition. We sold our house and bought a new one faster than expected, we had a tight deadline. I called The Movesmith and from my initial conversation, the whole process went wonderfully. They answered our questions, explained the whole process and we needed to move up our move by a week, last minute, and they happily accommodated our schedule. Moving day arrived and it was one of the hottest days of the year! They said they would be at the house between 8:30 and 9:30, they showed up at 8:25 and immediately got to work. The guys hustled and had our belongings packed and ready to go faster than expected. The Movesmith also agreed to stop at our storage unit on the way to the new house and load that up for us as well. The crew worked hard all day, they took excellent care of our belongings and were careful not to mark up our newly painted walls. My wife and I were blown away by the service we received and the price was less than I expected. The owner even stopped by at one point to see how things were going. You cannot ask for better service. If you need movers, The Movesmith is the way to go. I cannot recommend them enough.

My family has used Movesmith 3 times over the past 2 years. They make everything so smooth (smoove?) especially DJ and Brian. Every crew we've had communicates effectively during moving day. We had to move all of our furniture from four rooms on our second floor into one room also on the second floor for a floor refinishing project. It was a tight fit with some large and heavy pieces. Movesmith provided a three man team lead by Mike. They were all very personable, professional, and efficient. We are very pleased with experience and plan to have them return to move everything back.
The guys did a great job. Arrived on time. Carefully wrapped every piece of furniture. Loaded tight so no shifting. Removed every piece and placed exactly where instructed. Not a scratch or ding.
We used Movesmith to move our 7 bedroom home and they were fantastic. We received a transparent estimate that was almost exactly what the total cost was in the end - no surprises! The Movesmith team of three on site did a wonderful job moving me 30 miles. Two of the best things were 1) the contracting process was painless. Movesmith was persistent & aggressive in achieving my order, 2) the handlers were polite, careful, capable and asked questions. Two things which could have made their job easier & mine less stressful was if they 1) used a smaller truck, knowing my possessions were relatively few, 2) contracted by square feet rather than time. Overall, I really appreciate their help.
